A MIXED-METHODS STUDY OF THE CORRELATION BETWEEN IRANIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ SATISFACTION AND ANXIETY IN ONLINE CLASSESS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The present study aims to investigate the correlation between university students’ satisfaction and anxiety in online classes during COVID-19 pandemic Iran. To this aim, using a random sampling method, sample of 430 male (n=150) female (n=230) students were selected at Ayatollah Borujerdi University. They filled out two questionnaires: one measuring their other classes. triangulate quantitative data, 22 completed reflective written statement. analyze collected Pearson analysis, multiple regression thematic coding analysis used. Findings evidenced moderate negative participants’ Additionally, results documented that instructor, technology, outcomes factors had largest effects on Complementary with findings, statements yielded four overarching themes, including ‘instructors are facilitators’, ‘technology makes learning easier’, ‘outcomes more promising’, ‘interacting others is poor’. Finally, light range implications suggested.
